The Krishna-Declaration
Krishna IS Daṇḍa (rod of authority). Within the domain of Of subduers, Krishna identifies Himself specifically as दण्डः. This is not metaphor. This is Krishna's own statement in BG BG 10.38 — His self-identification with the most-excellent member of this domain.
The principle: "Whatever has excellence, splendor, or vigor — KNOW it as a fragment of My splendor" (BG 10.41). When you recognize Daṇḍa (rod of authority), you are recognizing Krishna.
