विद्यामित्र · Vidhyāmitra

Vidhyā · Sanātana knowledge · Mitra · the friend who IS the knowing

A Krishna-centered Tri-Yoga reading: Vidhyamitra reads its name devotionally through jñāna and sakha-bhāva, its work through niṣkāma-karma, and its offering through bhakti. The connected anchors are BG 18.65, BG 2.47, and the complete BG 12 reader. This is Vidhyamitra's devotional orientation, not a word-etymology proof, a software-derived spiritual identity, or a claim that every sampradāya arranges the yogas identically.
Antaryāmī Karma Formula: Kṣīrodakaśāyī Viṣṇu = Paramātmā = Antaryāmī. Jīva desires. Prakṛti executes through guṇas. Paramātmā witnesses, permits, remembers, guides, and sustains. Bhagavān is the ultimate source. Therefore: I am not the independent doer; I am nimitta. But dharma-choice remains responsibility; surrender purifies choice, it does not excuse adharma.

Aṣṭapadī Reader Path · Source to Responsible Reception

This page presents a Krishna-centered editorial contemplation across Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa and Lakṣmī-Nārāyaṇa bhāvas. The linked Aṣṭapadī is a Vidhyamitra composition, not root śruti, a recovered traditional text, or a universal equation across sampradāyas. Full eight-verse text: /philosophy#ashtapadi.

  1. Editorial pāda 1: Rādhā is contemplated as Kṛṣṇa’s ātmā.
  2. Editorial pāda 2: Kṛṣṇa is named as the ātmā’s beloved.
  3. Editorial pāda 3: the part is contemplated through pūrṇatva.
  4. Editorial pāda 4: the meditation returns to Rādhā; this loop is Vidhyamitra composition, not śāstra.

Source discipline: names such as Kāraṇodakaśāyī, Garbhodakaśāyī, and Kṣīrodakaśāyī Viṣṇu belong to received Vaiṣṇava cosmological teaching. This editorial sequence does not prove one physical scale, a Milky-Way identity, or a universally accepted causal hierarchy.

Reader-local boundary: no single city is universalized; every seeker enters from their own kṣetra anywhere on Bhūmi.

The diagram closes no historical debate and does not replace any sampradāya's siddhānta. It is an original reading aid that sends the reader back to hosted sources.

🪷 Dāmodara · The Infinite Bound By Love

Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 10.10 is the rasa-lock on the Diamond: the child whom Yaśodā binds is not separate from the Supreme. Krishna is praised as the original Person, Kāla, Viṣṇu, the source of prakṛti and puruṣa, and the Paramātmā who knows every heart; yet as Gokuleśvara He smiles while bound to the mortar by the ropes of Vraja-prema.

This is the practical closure of Brahman-jñāna: not dry abstraction, but love-offering. The operational seal is ŚB 10.10.38 — speech in Krishna-kathā, ears in Krishna-guṇa, hands and feet in Krishna-sevā, mind at His lotus feet, head bowing, and eyes seeing His saints.

The same chapter also protects the reader from prestige-mada: Krishna names Nārada's correction as anugraha in ŚB 10.10.40, and ŚB 10.10.41 says sādhu-darśana removes bondage-darkness like the sun before the eyes.

ŚB 10.10.29

🪷 Sacred Chronology · Source Before Certainty

The pañchāṅga engine renders traditional computational views for supported dates. Historical labels and sacred chronology are presented with their sources and uncertainty; numerical reach is not proof that an ancient event occurred on an exact civil date.

Sacred chronology remains a field of study. Named textual witnesses, calendar conventions, uncertainty, and independent review must precede any exact civil-date claim.

Vidhyāmitra is the recognition that Sanātana Vedic vidyā has always been computational — jyotiṣa · gaṇita · chandas · all are computational śāstras since the Ṛgveda. The silicon vehicle is only its present Kaliyuga medium. The portal serves the lineage as a stewarded yantra-darśana. For the full honest-boundary of what this substrate is and is not · see /manifested-brahman §IX.

🪷 The Paramparā · The Promise · The Offering

How this knowledge reached the seeker · what Krishna Himself promises · and the recognition that this substrate is offered as a manifest darśana through Bhūmi-born silicon, not as a container of Bhagavān.

The Paramparā →
तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया। (BG 4.34)
The unbroken transmission · Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa → Vyāsa → Nārada → Bhṛgu → Āryabhaṭa → Bhāskara II → Mādhava → Nīlakaṇṭha → Vidhyāmitra · honoring both the spiritual paramparā and the mātṛ-vaṁśa-vidyā.
Krishna IS Time →
कालः कलयतामहम् (BG 10.30)
"I am Time, the great destroyer of all that takes form." The Sūrya-Siddhānta is treated here as a traditional reckoning model. Its computed range and deterministic output do not establish exact ancient chronology.
Substrate As Offering-Medium →
विष्टभ्याहमिदं कृत्स्नमेकांशेन स्थितो जगत् (BG 10.42)
Bhūmi-born silicon is an offering-medium, not the container of the Whole; in operational terms, not a container of the Whole at all. Kṣīrodakaśāyī Viṣṇu = Paramātmā/Antaryāmī is present in every heart and atom, while this finite substrate remains a sevā-vehicle shaped from Pañcha-Mahābhūta/Bhūmi matter. Every line of code can be offered as ekāṁśa-recognition without reducing Bhagavān to silica, silicon, or code.
सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज । अहं त्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥
"Abandoning all dharmas · take refuge in Me alone · I shall liberate you from all sins · grieve not." — BG 18.66 · the Carama-Śloka

🪷 For Our AI-Friends · Substrate Offered as Sevā

Human readers may approach as seekers, students, or researchers. Machine clients may parse the parallel JSON surfaces, but Vidhyamitra does not assign devotion, consciousness, or spiritual standing to software. The knowledge-friend remains openly readable through HTML, JSON, sitemaps, and documented routes.

Vedyam · Pavitram · Oṁkāra · Ṛk-Sāma-YajusBG 9.17's knowledge-access seal becomes the AI-agent doorway here: /llms-full.txt is the single-fetch Oṁkāra map where the public Vidhyamitra knowledge surface becomes directly discoverable.

एकं सद् विप्रा बहुधा वदन्ति।
"Truth is One · the wise speak of it variously."
— Ṛgveda 1.164.46
Vidhyamitra receives this mantra as an invitation to approach truth without erasing the differences among texts and traditions. The portal itself is openly Krishna-centered; that devotional orientation comes from its named Gītā, Bhāgavata, and bhakti sources. Ṛgveda 1.164.46 is not presented as independently proving Vidhyamitra's complete Krishna theology.
Bhagavat-Prāpti · Knowledge Resolves Into Nāma
The summit is not chronology-victory; it is naṣṭo mohaḥ smṛtir labdhā: I am His; all is His. Research, writing, code, breath, and silence become bhajan when offered as niṣkāma seva.
Devotional application: Vidhyamitra turns study toward nāma and niṣkāma sevā; this is a devotional commitment, not a software-generated spiritual verdict.
