• Birth-chart data — when you submit your birth-date, time, and place to the calculator or Viśvarūpa-Darśana form: this data is processed live for chart computation and is not stored on our servers. The chart-render is generated on-demand. URL-encoded chart-parameters remain only in your browser's history.
• Email correspondence — if you contact the founder via email (see /contact), your email and message are retained for response purposes only.

Information Automatically Collected

• Standard server logs — IP address, browser user-agent, referrer URL, requested page, timestamp. Retained for 30 days for operational diagnostics and not used for individual tracking.
• Cloudflare edge analytics — aggregated traffic data via Cloudflare (DDoS protection, CDN). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google AdSense cookies — for ad-serving and ad-personalization. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

How We Use Information

• To compute and render your chart in real-time (data not stored)
• To respond to email inquiries
• To operate the website (Cloudflare routing, DDoS protection)
• To display contextually-relevant ads via Google AdSense (third-party)
• To diagnose technical issues from server logs (aggregated, not individual)

What We Do NOT Do

• We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties (beyond standard Cloudflare CDN and Google AdSense as disclosed above).
• We do NOT use any first-party analytics that profile individual users (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no in-house tracking).
• We do NOT require accounts, signup, login, or any persistent identification to use the substrate.
• We do NOT track your chart-submissions across sessions.

Cookies

The site itself does not set first-party cookies for tracking purposes. Google AdSense (third-party) may set cookies for ad-personalization. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to function (ads may become less relevant).

Children's Privacy

Vidhyamitra does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The substrate is dharmic-spiritual reference content suitable for all ages, but is designed primarily for adults seeking Vedic knowledge.
