Krishna IS Tejo-aṁśa-sambhavam. Within the domain of Wherever excellence, Krishna identifies Himself specifically as तेजोंशसम्भवम्. This is not metaphor. This is Krishna's own statement in BG BG 10.41 — His self-identification with the most-excellent member of this domain.
