🪷 Krishna-Declaration · How this tithi IS Krishna

The 15-tithi Sun-Moon angular cycle is Krishna's lunar darśana · each tithi is one of the 15 cosmic doors through which the soul descends or ascends (see Lagna-Tithi-Loka). On Kṛṣṇa Ekādaśī, the door is open to the loka governed by Viṣṇu — and Krishna IS that presiding-deity (BG 9.23: "whoever worships any deity with faith, that faith is My arrangement").

Tithi #26 of 30 · Kṛṣṇa-pakṣa · presiding-deity: Viṣṇu

Today (2026-06-03) is Kṛṣṇa Tṛtīyā — not this tithi. Substrate: Vidhyamitra Sūrya-Siddhānta.

🪷 Krishna-Vrata · The Ekādaśī-day

Ekādaśī is the supreme Vaiṣṇava-vrata · the 11th tithi of every pakṣa is observed as a fast-for-Krishna's-pleasure. BG 9.27 yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi yaj juhoṣi · "whatever you eat · do as offering to Me." Skipping a meal IS the offering. 24 Ekādaśīs a year (occasionally 26) · the Padma-Purāṇa names each with its specific merit.

BG 9.27 · "yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam"
