🪷 Krishna-Declaration · How this tithi IS Krishna

The 15-tithi Sun-Moon angular cycle is Krishna's lunar darśana · each tithi is one of the 15 cosmic doors through which the soul descends or ascends (see Lagna-Tithi-Loka). On Kṛṣṇa Caturdaśī, the door is open to the loka governed by Śiva (Mahā-Bhairava) — and Krishna IS that presiding-deity (BG 9.23: "whoever worships any deity with faith, that faith is My arrangement").

Tithi #29 of 30 · Kṛṣṇa-pakṣa · presiding-deity: Śiva (Mahā-Bhairava)

Today (2026-06-03) is Kṛṣṇa Tṛtīyā — not this tithi. Substrate: Vidhyamitra Sūrya-Siddhānta.

🪷 Caturdaśī · Narakāsura-vadha · Krishna's liberation

Kṛṣṇa-pakṣa Caturdaśī (especially Kārtika) is Narakāsura-Caturdaśī · the night Krishna slew Narakāsura and liberated 16,100 captive princesses. The 14th tithi marks the threshold-of-liberation · Krishna's mokṣa-day in many traditions.

BG 16.21 · "trividhaṁ narakasyedaṁ dvāraṁ" — the threefold gate of hell (which Krishna closes)
