हिन्दी भावार्थ
परीक्षित्! जैसे कोई हाथीको अंकुशसे बेध डाले, वैसे ही उर्वशीने अपने वचन-बाणोंसे राजाको बींध दिया। राजा पुरूरवाको बड़ा क्रोध आया और हाथमें तलवार लेकर वस्त्रहीन अवस्थामें ही वे उस ओर दौड़ पड़े॥ ३०॥ गन्धर्वोंने उनके झपटते ही भेड़ोंको तो वहीं छोड़ दिया और स्वयं बिजलीकी तरह चमकने लगे। जब राजा पुरूरवा भेड़ोंको लेकर लौटे, तब उर्वशीने उस प्रकाशमें उन्हें वस्त्रहीन अवस्थामें देख लिया। (बस, वह उसी समय उन्हें छोड़कर चली गयी)॥ ३१॥
