विश्वरूपने कहा— पुरोहितीका काम ब्रह्मतेजको क्षीण करनेवाला है। इसलिये धर्मशील महात्माओंने उसकी निन्दा की है। किन्तु आप मेरे स्वामी हैं और लोकेश्वर होकर भी मुझसे उसके लिये प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं। ऐसी स्थितिमें मेरे-जैसा व्यक्ति भला, आपलोगोंको कोरा जवाब कैसे दे सकता है? मैं तो आपलोगोंका सेवक हूँ। आपकी आज्ञाओंका पालन करना ही मेरा स्वार्थ है॥ ३५॥
