The body of the Supreme Lord, Viṣṇu, which forms the Śiśumāra-cakra, is the resting place of all the demigods and all the stars and planets. One who chants this mantra to worship that Supreme Person three times a day — morning, noon and evening — will surely be freed from all sinful reactions. If one simply offers his obeisances to this form or remembers this form three times a day, all his recent sinful activities will be destroyed.

हिन्दी टीका-पाठ
राजन्! यह भगवान् विष्णुका सर्वदेवमय स्वरूप है। इसका नित्यप्रति सायंकालके समय पवित्र और मौन होकर दर्शन करते हुए चिन्तन करना चाहिये तथा इस मन्त्रका जप करते हुए भगवान् की स्तुति करनी चाहिये—‘सम्पूर्ण ज्योतिर्गणोंके आश्रय, कालचक्रस्वरूप, सर्वदेवाधिपति परमपुरुष परमात्माका हम नमस्कारपूर्वक ध्यान करते हैं’॥ ८॥ ग्रह, नक्षत्र और ताराओंके रूपमें भगवान्का आधिदैविकरूप प्रकाशित हो रहा है; वह तीनों समय उपर्युक्त मन्त्रका जप करनेवाले पुरुषोंके पाप नष्ट कर देता है। जो पुरुष प्रात:, मध्याह्न और सायं—तीनों काल उनके इस आधिदैविक स्वरूपका नित्यप्रति चिन्तन और वन्दन करता है, उसके उस समय किये हुए पाप तुरन्त नष्ट हो जाते हैं॥ ९॥
