O King, in the Age of Kali people’s intelligence will be diverted by atheism, and they will almost never offer sacrifice to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the supreme spiritual master of the universe. Although the great personalities who control the three worlds all bow down to the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord, the petty and miserable human beings of this age will not do so.

परीक्षित्! श्रीभगवान् ही चराचर जगत्के परम पिता और परम गुरु हैं। इन्द्र-ब्रह्मा आदि त्रिलोकाधिपति उनके चरणकमलोंमें अपना सिर झुकाकर सर्वस्व समर्पण करते रहते हैं। उनका ऐश्वर्य अनन्त है और वे एकरस अपने स्वरूपमें स्थित हैं। परन्तु कलियुगमें लोगोंमें इतनी मूढ़ता फैल जाती है, पाखण्डियोंके कारण लोगोंका चित्त इतना भटक जाता है कि प्राय: लोग अपने कर्म और भावनाओंके द्वारा भगवान्की पूजासे भी विमुख हो जाते हैं॥ ४३॥
