ब्रह्मचारी-वेषधारी भगवान्ने कहा— शकुनि-नन्दन वृकासुरजी! आप स्पष्ट ही बहुत थके-से जान पड़ते हैं। आज आप बहुत दूरसे आ रहे हैं क्या? तनिक विश्राम तो कर लीजिये। देखिये, यह शरीर ही सारे सुखोंकी जड़ है। इसीसे सारी कामनाएँ पूरी होती हैं। इसे अधिक कष्ट न देना चाहिये॥ २९॥
