उत्क्षेपणं गर्भगतस्य पादयो: किं कल्पते मातुरधोक्षजागसे । किमस्तिनास्तिव्यपदेशभूषितं तवास्ति कुक्षे: कियदप्यनन्त: ॥ १२ ॥

Transliteration

utkṣepaṇaṁ garbha-gatasya pādayoḥ kiṁ kalpate mātur adhokṣajāgase kim asti-nāsti-vyapadeśa-bhūṣitaṁ tavāsti kukṣeḥ kiyad apy anantaḥ

हिन्दी भावार्थ

वृत्तियोंकी पकड़में न आनेवाले परमात्मन्! जब बच्चा माताके पेटमें रहता है, तब अज्ञानवश अपने हाथ-पैर पीटता है; परन्तु क्या माता उसे अपराध समझती है या उसके लिये वह कोई अपराध होता है? ‘है’ और ‘नहीं है’—इन शब्दोंसे कही जानेवाली कोई भी वस्तु ऐसी है क्या, जो आपकी कोखके भीतर न हो?॥ १२॥
