उसी समय पृथ्वीपर स्वेच्छासे विचरण करते हुए, किसीकी कोई अपेक्षा न रखनेवाले व्यासनन्दन भगवान् श्रीशुकदेवजी महाराज वहाँ प्रकट हो गये। वे वर्ण अथवा आश्रमके बाह्य चिह्नोंसे रहित एवं आत्मानुभूतिमें सन्तुष्ट थे। बच्चों और स्त्रियोंने उन्हें घेर रखा था। उनका वेष अवधूतका था॥ २५॥
