The Krishna-Declaration
Krishna IS Ātmā (the Self). Within the domain of In all beings (heart), Krishna identifies Himself specifically as आत्मा. This is not metaphor. This is Krishna's own statement in BG BG 10.20 — His self-identification with the most-excellent member of this domain.
The principle: "Whatever has excellence, splendor, or vigor — KNOW it as a fragment of My splendor" (BG 10.41). When you recognize Ātmā (the Self), you are recognizing Krishna.
