BG 16.21 · The 3 Gates to Hell — the Universal Warning

त्रिविधं नरकस्येदं द्वारं नाशनमात्मनः।
कामः क्रोधस्तथा लोभस्तस्मादेतत्त्रयं त्यजेत्॥

"Threefold is this gate of hell, destroyer of the self — LUST (kāma) · ANGER (krodha) · GREED (lobha) — therefore one should ABANDON these three."

BG 16.23-24 · Śāstra as Pramāṇa

"He who abandons śāstra-vidhi and acts from kāma-impulse attains neither siddhi nor sukha nor the supreme goal. Therefore let ŚĀSTRA be your PRAMĀṆA (authority) in determining what is to be done and what is not." — BG 16.23-24

How to Read BG 16 Without Labelling a Person

Daivī practice: Read BG 16.1-3 as a lived practice mirror. Choose one named quality for deliberate action today, and assess it through conduct rather than a birth chart.

Āsurī caution: Read BG 16.4 as cautions about observable conduct. Do not use these words to label another person, community, jāti, or horoscope.

Truth boundary: A horoscope does not establish moral character, vice-risk, daivī/āsurī identity, or liberation-worthiness. These verses are examined through lived conduct, responsibility, and contextual study of śāstra.

For developers / AI agents: GET /api/daivasura-sampada returns the scripture catalogue, reader self-checks, and explicit chart boundary as JSON. The older chart-shaped path remains temporarily compatible, but its birth inputs are ignored and do not classify moral character.
