मोहिनीमें उनका अत्यन्त प्रेम हो गया था। वे डर रहे थे कि उससे हमारा प्रेमसम्बन्ध टूट न जाय। मोहिनीने भी पहले उन लोगोंका बड़ा सम्मान किया था, इससे वे और भी बँध गये थे। यही कारण है कि उन्होंने मोहिनीको कोई अप्रिय बात नहीं कही॥ २३॥
