Thus, when one’s consciousness is completely fixed on the Absolute Truth, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, one no longer sees duality, or internal and external reality. The example is given of the arrow maker who was so absorbed in making a straight arrow that he did not even see or notice the king himself, who was passing right next to him.

हिन्दी भावार्थ
राजन्! मैंने बाण बनानेवालेसे यह सीखा है कि आसन और श्वासको जीतकर वैराग्य और अभ्यासके द्वारा अपने मनको वशमें कर ले और फिर बड़ी सावधानीके साथ उसे एक लक्ष्यमें लगा दे॥ ११॥ जब परमानन्दस्वरूप परमात्मामें मन स्थिर हो जाता है तब वह धीरे-धीरे कर्मवासनाओंकी धूलको धो बहाता है। सत्त्वगुणकी वृद्धिसे रजोगुणी और तमोगुणी वृत्तियोंका त्याग करके मन वैसे ही शान्त हो जाता है, जैसे ईंधनके बिना अग्नि॥ १२॥ इस प्रकार जिसका चित्त अपने आत्मामें ही स्थिर—निरुद्ध हो जाता है, उसे बाहर-भीतर कहीं किसी पदार्थका भान नहीं होता। मैंने देखा था कि एक बाण बनानेवाला कारीगर बाण बनानेमें इतना तन्मय हो रहा था कि उसके पाससे ही दलबलके साथ राजाकी सवारी निकल गयी और उसे पतातक न चला॥ १३॥
