श्रीभगवानुवाच यदुनैवं महाभागो ब्रह्मण्येन सुमेधसा । पृष्ट: सभाजित: प्राह प्रश्रयावनतं द्विज: ॥ ३१ ॥

Transliteration

śrī-bhagavān uvāca yadunaivaṁ mahā-bhāgo brahmaṇyena su-medhasā pṛṣṭaḥ sabhājitaḥ prāha praśrayāvanataṁ dvijaḥ

Translation

Lord Kṛṣṇa continued: The intelligent King Yadu, always respectful to the brāhmaṇas, waited with bowed head as the brāhmaṇa, pleased with the King’s attitude, began to reply.

भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने कहा— उद्धव! हमारे पूर्वज महाराज यदुकी बुद्धि शुद्ध थी और उनके हृदयमें ब्राह्मण-भक्ति थी। उन्होंने परमभाग्यवान् दत्तात्रेयजीका अत्यन्त सत्कार करके यह प्रश्‍न पूछा और बड़े विनम्रभावसे सिर झुकाकर वे उनके सामने खड़े हो गये। अब दत्तात्रेयजीने कहा॥ ३१॥
