हिन्दी भावार्थ
इसलिये फलकी अभिलाषा छोड़कर और विश्वात्मा भगवान्को समर्पित कर जो वेदोक्त कर्मका ही अनुष्ठान करता है, उसे कर्मोंकी निवृत्तिसे प्राप्त होनेवाली ज्ञानरूप सिद्धि मिल जाती है। जो वेदोंमें स्वर्गादिरूप फलका वर्णन है, उसका तात्पर्य फलकी सत्यतामें नहीं है, वह तो कर्मोंमें रुचि उत्पन्न करानेके लिये है॥ ४६॥
