इत्युक्त्वैकेन हस्तेन कृत्वा गोवर्धनाचलम् । दधार लीलया विष्णुश्छत्राकमिव बालक: ॥ १९ ॥

Transliteration

ity uktvaikena hastena kṛtvā govardhanācalam dadhāra līlayā viṣṇuś chatrākam iva bālakaḥ
Synonyms
iti — thus; uktvā — having spoken; ekena — with one; hastena — hand; kṛtvā — taking; govardhana-acalam — Govardhana Hill; dadhāra — He held it; līlayā — very easily; viṣṇuḥ — Lord Viṣṇu; chatrākam — a mushroom; iva — just as; bālakaḥ — a child.

Translation

Having said this, Lord Kṛṣṇa, who is Viṣṇu Himself, picked up Govardhana Hill with one hand and held it aloft just as easily as a child holds up a mushroom.

हिन्दी भावार्थ

इस प्रकार कहकर भगवान् श्रीकृष्णने खेल-खेलमें एक ही हाथसे गिरिराज गोवर्द्धनको उखाड़ लिया और जैसे छोटे-छोटे बालक बरसाती छत्तेके पुष्पको उखाड़कर हाथमें रख लेते हैं, वैसे ही उन्होंने उस पर्वतको धारण कर लिया॥ १९॥
