Maa Katyayani Aarti
Maa Katyayani is known as the fiercest incarnation of the Goddess Durga. She is the sixth manifestation of the Durga Maa. She is the executor of the demon Mahishasura. She was born from the Gods’ combined powers when their anger at the demon Mahishasura expressed itself in the form of energy rays, according to the Vamana Purana. Because the rays formed in the ashram of Katyayana Rishi, who gave the energy rays a perfect shape, named her as Katyayani, or “daughter of Katyayana.”
She is worshipped as the power form or Aadi shakti swaroop, who will grant the devotee the husband of her dreams if a fasting vow is observed on her behalf. The fasting, known as Katyayani-Vrata, lasts for a month and includes offerings of sandals, flowers, incense, and other items.
She is the significator of peace and kindness by removing all the negativities and evil from the world. Maa Katyayani signifies peace, cheerfulness and bravery. Maa Katyayni is the warrior Goddess who blesses her devotees with the strength to fight demons and evil and she will provide them protection from all the surrounding negativity.
