Why does Saturn represent grief in astrology?

In astrology, Saturn is known as the planet of grief. This is because Saturn represents our karma, and the things we must go through in order to learn our life lessons. When we experience loss or pain, it is often because we need to learn something from the experience.

Saturn’s association with emotion is thought to stem from its connection to death and loss. In ancient times, Saturn was believed to be the ruler of the underworld, and it was often associated with death and darkness. As a result, when Saturn appears in a person’s chart, it can symbolize a time of grief or loss.

Saturn teaches us patience, perseverance, and strength. It also reminds us that we are not alone in our sorrows. We all have our Saturn moments, when we must face our fears and grief head-on. But if we can get through these tough times, we will come out stronger and wiser on the other side.

Saturn is also associated with transformation and rebirth. Its placement in a chart can indicate a need for change or a new beginning. In this way, Saturn’s association with grief can also be seen as a representation of the hope that comes after loss.
