The sun is often seen as a symbol of the ego. After all, it is the brightest object in the sky and commands our attention. But the sun’s connection to the ego goes much deeper than that. Just as the sun provides light and energy to everything in its orbit, so too does the ego provide light and energy to our lives.  

It is the source of our vitality and creativity, and without it we would be lost in the darkness. Of course, like all things, the ego can be either positive or negative. When it is in balance, it brings us confidence and power.  

But when it is out of balance, it can lead to ego-driven behaviors that are harmful to ourselves and others. The key is to find a healthy balance between the ego and the other aspects of our lives. Only then can we truly shine.
