To Rudra, it seemed misbehavior, so Rudhra turned around to Prajapathi with an arrow and aimed at him. The alarmed creator tried to stop Rudhra but failed. The Prajapathi was afraid of Rudhra. He said I would make you the lord of cattle or Pashupati, so do not shoot at me. Rudhra aimed at Prajapathi and pierced him. Due to this, the Prajapathi cried, and therefore Shiva is also called Rudhra. The purpose of Prajapathi’s seduction was the expansion of his creation.
